About
Michelle Sirois
My name is Michelle Sirois, MSDH, QOM, and I am the proud owner of Myofunctional Wellness, LLC.
I hold an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, MA, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT, and a Master’s degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I am also certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT) in Los Angeles, CA.
Over the past 26 years, I have been privileged to teach dental hygiene at four different universities, including the School of Dentistry in Amman, Jordan. I have contributed chapters to dental textbooks and authored numerous research papers and articles published within the dental and dental hygiene professions.
From the very beginning of my career, I have been driven by a deep curiosity and a commitment to solving challenging problems in patient care. My passion for lifelong learning and dedication to improving outcomes has guided me into the remarkable field of orofacial myofunctional therapy, where I now focus my practice. This therapy allows me to see each patient as a whole person and to design holistic, individualized care plans that best serve their unique needs.
My connection to this work is also personal. Coming from a family with a history of obstructive sleep apnea—and having experienced sleep-disordered breathing myself—I understand the life-changing potential of myofunctional therapy. It has allowed me to blend my love for dentistry with my fascination for anatomy, physiology, and education, creating a truly integrative approach to care.
I cherish every moment I spend with my patients and continually strive to enhance my skills as the needs of the community evolve. I look forward to partnering with you and your family on a journey toward better health, improved function, and lasting happiness.
